New website puts an end to household bill headaches
With millions of Australian households struggling with the demands of monthly bills and balancing bank accounts, Once Australia has launched an online bill credit service designed to enable households to gain control of financial expenditure, while reducing credit debt.
Once Bill Credit provides a centralised bill payment service, and through a special purpose line of credit, assists a customer to have bills paid on time offering peace of mind.
The payment system allows up to 45 days interest free, with no interest charged if the balance is paid in full each month by the agreed due date.
Once Bill Credit also acts as a buffer during those times when all the bills come at the same time. It’s a simple credit solution to manage these financial surprises.
The service promotes responsible management of credit by offering advanced alerts to ensure you stay within your preset credit level, flexible repayment plans and the chance to reduce your credit limit over the phone at any time, Budgeting tools are also provided to help customers save.
Once Australia CEO Stephen Benton says the service is not designed to give people more to spend; it’s all about planned, controlled payment of regular household expenses, not luxuries.
“It’s a more responsible way to use credit,” Benton said. “You can only pay household bills with your Once Bill Credit Account, so it helps separate the essentials from the nice-to-haves.
Once Bill Credit has no joining or exit fees, no fixed contract periods and there are no monthly fees for the first six months. Once Bill Credit also offers an interest rate from 15.4%* p.a.
